Description
Indications
- Used for symptomatic relief of allergies such as hay fever and urticaria.
- Allergic rhinitis; Chronic urticaria
Dosage and Administration
- Adults: 10mg (2 teaspoonfuls) once a day or 5mg (1 teaspoonful) twice a day.
- Children (above 6 years old): 10mg (2 teaspoonfuls) once a day or 5mg (1 teaspoonful) twice a day or as prescribed by the physician.
- Children (2 years old – 6 years old): 5mg (1 teaspoonful) once a day or 2.5mg (1/2 teaspoonful) twice a day or as prescribed by the physician.
- Administer with or without food.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to cetirizine, hydroxyzine, levocetirizine, or any component of the formulation. Refer to manufacturer labeling for further detail.
