Description
Indications
- It is indicated in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus to improve glycemic control in adults as monotherapy or add-0n combination therapy
- It is indicated in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and established cardiovascular disease to reduce the risk of cardiovascular death.
Dosage and Administration

- Administer with or without food, once daily in the morning.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to empagliflozin, linagliptin, or any component of the formulation. Refer to manufacturer labeling for further details.
Common side-effects
- UTI, Hypoglycemia, URTI, Nasopharyngitis
