Description
Indications
- For the relief of coughs associated with common colds, influenza, allergies, and other respiratory infections, particularly for dry, unproductive coughs.
Dosage & Administration
- Adult: 15mL (1 tablespoonful)
- 7-12 years: 10mL (2 teaspoonful)
- 1-6 years: 5mL (1 teaspoonful)
- Infant: 2.5mL (½ teaspoonful)
- To be taken orally, 3- 4 times daily, or as prescribed by the physician.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to any component of the formulation. Refer to manufacturer labeling for further details.
Common side-effects
- Headache, GI disturbances, Epigastric pain, Tinnitus, Dry mouth
