Description
Indications
- Acne; Acute intestinal amebiasis; Anthrax; Cholera; Clostridium; Malaria prophylaxis; Respiratory tract infections; STDs; Relapsing fever; Susceptible infections.
Administration
- May administer with or without food. Administer with a full glass of water & remain upright for at least 30 min. Take with food or milk if GI irritation occurs.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to doxycycline, other tetracyclines or any component of the formulation. Refer to manufacturer labeling for further detail.
Common side-effects
- Photosensitivity, Vomiting, Nausea, Diarrhea.
