Description
Indications
- Mild to moderate pain; Primary dysmenorrhea, Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid arthritis
Dosage and Administration
- Children over 6 months of age: 25mg/kg body weight daily in divided doses.
- It should not be continued for longer than 7 days or as prescribed by the physician.
- Administer with food.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to mefenamic acid, or any component of the formulation. Refer to manufacturer labeling for further detail.
Common side-effects
- Dizziness, Headache, Pruritus, Skin rash, Fluid retention, GI upset
