Administration
- Administer consistently with or without food. Take with meals if high dose or to reduce GI discomfort.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to amiodarone, iodine, or any component of the formulation. Refer to manufacturer labeling for further detail.
Common side-effects
- Taste change, Nausea, Constipation, Vomiting, Slow heart rate, Eczema, Decreased level of thyroid hormones
