Description
Indications
- Otitis media; Periodontitis; Pneumonia; Rhinosinusitis; Skin and soft tissue infection; Urinary tract infection.
Administration
- May administer with or without food. May be taken with meals for better absorption & to reduce GI discomfort.
- Directions for Reconstitution: To make 60mL suspension, add 42mL of water, shake well until the contents are completely suspended. The reconstituted suspension is stable for 7 days when stored at temperature not exceeding 30°C and 14 days when refrigerated ( 2-8°C)
Contraindications
- Contraindicated in patients known to be sensitive to penicillin. It should be used with caution in patients with history of allergy to Penicillin V. Refer to manufacturer labeling for further detail.
Common side-effects
- Nausea, Allergic reaction, Rash, Vomiting, Diarrhea
