Description
Indications
- Reduce the risk of cardiovascular death and hospitalization for heart failure in adult patients with chronic heart failure.
- Benefits are most clearly evident in patients with left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) below normal.
- Vasacad is administered in place of an ACE inhibitor or ARB.
Dosage and Administration
- Please see the enclosed leaflet or as prescribed by the physician.
- Administer with or without food.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to sacubitril, valsartan, or any component of the formulation. Refer to the manufacturer’s labeling for further details.
Common side-effects
- Hypotension, Hyperkalemia, Increased serum creatinine
