Description
Indications
- Bone and joint infections; Respiratory tract infections; Skin and soft tissue infections; Otitis externa; Prostatitis; Pyelonephritis; Cystitis; Typhoid fever; Anthrax
Dosage and Administration
- As prescribed by the physician, see package insert.
- May administer with or without food. May be taken w/ meals to reduce GI discomfort. Do not take w/ antacids, Iron or dairy products.
Contraindication
- Hypersensitivity to ciprofloxacin, other quinolones or any component of the formulation. Refer to manufacturer labeling for further detail.
Common side-effects
- Vomiting, Stomach pain, Nausea, Diarrhea
