Description
Indications
- For typhoid fever, bacteremia, meningitis, and other serious infections caused by microorganisms known to be sensitive to Chloramphenicol.
Administration
- Administer on an empty stomach (Take 1 hr. before or 2 hr. after meals).
Contraindication
- Hypersensitivity to chloramphenicol or any component of the formulation. Refer to manufacturer labeling for further detail.
Common side-effects
- Vomiting, Nausea, Diarrhea, Taste change
