Description
Indications
- Susceptible infections; Uncomplicated UTI; Respiratory tract infections; Uncomplicated gonorrhea.
Administration
- Should be taken with food.
- Directions for Reconstitution: To make 50mL reconstituted suspension, loosen the powder by shaking, mix thoroughly the contents with 22mL water and shake well until the powder is evenly suspended. The reconstituted suspension must be stored in refrigeration (2-8°C) and can be kept for up to 10 days.
Contraindication
- Hypersensitivity to cefuroxime or other cephalosporins or penicillins or any component of the formulation. Refer to manufacturer labeling for further detail.
Common side-effects
- Rash, Vomiting, Allergic reaction, Nausea, Diarrhea
