Description
Indications
- Skin and soft tissue infections; Uncomplicated UTI; Respiratory tract infections; Bone and joint infections; Genitourinary infections; Acute prostatitis; Acute dental infections, Streptococcal pharyngitis
Administration
- May administer with or without food. May be taken w/ meals for better absorption & to reduce GI discomfort.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to cephalexin, other cephalosporins, or any component of the formulation. Refer to manufacturer labeling for further detail.
Common side-effects
- Rash, Vomiting, Allergic reaction, Stomach pain, Nausea, Indigestion, Diarrhea
