Description
Indications
- Sucralfate is a cytoprotector.
- For the treatment of duodenal ulcer, gastric ulcer and chronic gastritis.
Usual Dosage
- 1 tablet 4 times daily on an empty stomach one hour before meals and at bedtime or as prescribed by a physician.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to sucralfate or any component of the formulation. Refer to manufacturer labeling for further detail.
Common side-effects
- Nausea, Vomiting, Rash, Fever, Gastrointestinal discomfort
