Description
Indications
- Otitis media; Periodontitis; Pneumonia; Rhinosinusitis; Skin and soft tissue infection; Urinary tract infection.
Administration
- May administer with or without food. May be taken w/ meals for better absorption & to reduce GI discomfort.
Direction for Reconstitution
- Slowly add boiled and cooled water up to the mark on the bottle. Shake vigorously. Adjust the volume up to the mark by adding more water, if necessary.
- This makes 70mL of the suspension.
- After reconstitution, keep the suspension in the refrigerator when not in use.
- Use the reconstituted suspension within 7 days.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to amoxicillin, clavulanic acid, other beta-lactam antibacterial drugs, or any component of the formulation. Refer to manufacturer labeling for further detail.
Common side-effects
- Vomiting, Nausea, Diarrhea
