Description
Indications
- Megaloblastic anemia caused by vitamin B12 deficiency
- Peripheral neuropathy
Dosage and Administration
- Adult: 500 mcg three times a day, may adjust dose depending on patient age and severity of symptoms, or as directed by a physician.
- Administer with or without meals.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to any component of the formulation. Refer to manufacturer labeling for further details.
Common side-effects
- Peripheral edema, Weight gain, Xerostomia, Dizziness, Drowsiness, Fatigue, Headache, Blurred vision
