Description
Indications
- Hypertension; Chronic stable angina; Cardiac arrhythmias; Essential tremor; Prophylaxis of migraine; Myocardial infarction; Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy; Pheochromocytoma; Anxiety
Administration
- Immediate release Tab: Should be taken on an empty stomach.
- Extended release Cap: May be taken with or without food, but should always be taken consistently (with food or without food).
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to propranolol, beta-blockers, or any component of the formulation. Refer to manufacturer labeling for further detail.
Common side-effects
- Nightmare, Tiredness, Weakness, Cold extremities, Bradycardia, Arrhythmia
