Description

Indications

• Hypertension
• Chronic stable angina
• Cardiac arrhythmias
• Essential tremor
• Prophylaxis of migraine
• Myocardial infarction
• Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy
• Pheochromocytoma
• Anxiety

Administration

• Immediate release Tab: Should be taken on an empty stomach.
• Extended-release Cap: May be taken with or without food, but should always be taken consistently (with or without food).

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity to propranolol, beta-blockers, or any component of the formulation. Refer to manufacturer labeling for further details.

Common side-effects

• Nightmare, Tiredness, Weakness, Cold extremities, Bradycardia, Arrhythmia
