Description
Indications
- It is indicated to treat hypertension, alone or with other antihypertensive agents.
- It may also be used as an initial therapy in patients likely to need multiple antihypertensive agents to achieve their blood pressure goals.
Administration
- Administer with or without food.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to telmisartan or amlodipine or any component of the formulation. Refer to manufacturer labeling for further details.
Common side-effects
- Headache, Dizziness, Sleepiness, Flushing, Tiredness, Palpitations, Stomach upset, Hyperkalemia
