Description
Indications
- UTI; Acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis; Acute otitis media; Treatment and prophylaxis of Pneumocystis pneumonia (PCP); Traveler’s diarrhea.
Administration
- Should be taken with food.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to any sulfa drug, trimethoprim, or any component of the formulation. Refer to manufacturer labeling for further detail.
Common side-effects
- Nausea, Vomiting, Skin rash, Allergic reaction.
