Description

Indications

• Management of hypertension and angina pectoris.

Dosage and Administration

• The usual initial antihypertensive dose is 5mg once daily, with a maximum dose of 10mg once daily, or as prescribed by a physician.
• Administer with or without food.

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity to amlodipine or any component of the formulation. Refer to manufacturer labeling for further detail.

Common side-effects

• Flushing, Headache, Nausea, Dizziness, Palpitations, Abdominal pain, Fatigue, Sleepiness
