Description
Indications
- Management of hypertension and angina pectoris.
Dosage and Administration
- The usual initial antihypertensive dose is 5mg once daily, with a maximum dose of 10mg once daily, or as prescribed by a physician.
- Administer with or without food.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to amlodipine or any component of the formulation. Refer to manufacturer labeling for further detail.
Common side-effects
- Flushing, Headache, Nausea, Dizziness, Palpitations, Abdominal pain, Fatigue, Sleepiness
