Description
Indications
- Otitis media; Periodontitis; Pneumonia; Rhinosinusitis; Skin and soft tissue infection; Urinary tract infection.
Administration
- May administer with or without food. May be taken with meals for better absorption & to reduce GI discomfort.
- Directions for Reconstitution: To make a 60mL suspension, loosen powder by shaking. Add water up to 2/3 of level indicated by the mark on the label. Shake well for 1 minute and then let it stand for 1 minute. Then add water up to the mark on the label and shake well for 30 seconds.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to amoxicillin or to other penicillins or any component of the formulation. Refer to manufacturer labeling for further detail.
Common side-effects
- Nausea, Allergic reaction, Rash, Vomiting, Diarrhea
